St Madeleine’s Primary recently competed in a Touch Football Gala Day.
The teams, made up of our fantastic students, played a number of games and developed their sporting skills over the course of a fun day.
All children demonstrated great enthusiasm, resilience, and sportsmanship on the day, Students also demonstrated their great skills and techniques learned throughout their sports classes and training lessons throughout Term 2.
Our students were cheered on by our amazing parent cheer squads throughout the day being very cheerful for each of the student's games regardless of the game's results.
Congratulations to our teams who demonstrated great and team spirit towards every competere as well as demonstrating how strong they were as a team always encouraging and looking out for one another. own team.

Our Year 4 students have been hard at work during writing lessons creating and presenting their very own Passion Projects! Students chose topics they were passionate about and worked tirelessly to research, write, design, and deliver engaging presentations. From sport and animals to history, technology, and creative hobbies, the variety of topics showcased the incredible interests and talents within our Year 4 classrooms. Today, students proudly presented their projects to other grades, building their confidence in public speaking while inspiring younger and older students with their knowledge and enthusiasm. We are so proud of the effort, creativity, and dedication our Year 4 students demonstrated throughout this exciting learning experience!

Year two have enjoyed using a variety of materials in Maths this week to help learn to create and recognise halves and quarters, as part measures of a whole length. They also really enjoyed taking part in listening to the story ‘Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller’ as part of the National Simultaneous Story Time event.
