St Madeleine’s Primary recently competed in a Touch Football Gala Day.
The teams, made up of our fantastic students, played a number of games and developed their sporting skills over the course of a fun day.
All children demonstrated great enthusiasm, resilience, and sportsmanship on the day, Students also demonstrated their great skills and techniques learned throughout their sports classes and training lessons throughout Term 2.
Our students were cheered on by our amazing parent cheer squads throughout the day being very cheerful for each of the student's games regardless of the game's results.
Congratulations to our teams who demonstrated great and team spirit towards every competere as well as demonstrating how strong they were as a team always encouraging and looking out for one another. own team.

Last Thursday students from St. Madeleine's Primary School participated in the Hills Zone Clusters Athletics Carnival. We would like to congratulate all the children who participated in terrible weather conditions. A special congratulations to those children who have made it through to the Parramatta Diocese Carnival. Today, our Stage 3 Laudato Si leaders attended the annual Education Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral. The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Vincent and is an opportunity for students of CSPD schools to gather with principals, teachers, parents, and religious leaders from the diocese to celebrate their role in the mission of the Church. Following the mass, the students explored the Mission Expo, which highlighted some of the mission work that schools within the diocese are engaging in. We congratulate our students on being outstanding representatives of our school.

Our Laudato Si leaders, with Marian College, attended their fourth session at the Annangrove Environmental Centre last week. We were fortunate to welcome a guest speaker from BirdLife Australia, who inspired us with their knowledge and passion for identifying, caring and protecting our feathered friends habitats. We finished the session by reflecting on how we can find awe in the simplest things around us. Students shared special moments from their own lives when they have experienced awe, reminders that God’s creation invites us to pause, notice, and wonder each day. 🌏🙏

Our third session at the Annangrove Environment Hub saw our Laudato Si leaders treated to a bush tucker sensory experience where we were smelling, exploring the bushland, and learning about native plants and their uses. We also rolled up our sleeves and investigated water bugs, discovering how these tiny creatures can tell us about the health of our waterways. It was another fantastic hands-on session connecting science, sustainability, and our call to care for God’s creation.

Our Laudato Si’ leaders had a fantastic time on their second visit to the Annangrove Environmental Centre last week! Through hands-on experiences, they deepened their understanding of how science, sustainability, and faith come together in caring for God’s creation. 💧 They investigated pollution levels in Cattai Creek with an interactive water activity, 🌱 explored the wonders of composting and worm farming, 🪴 and learnt what makes soil healthy and what doesn’t! We shared great conversations about how we can make a positive difference in our school and beyond. Let’s continue to walk gently on the Earth and live out our call to care for our common home. 🌏
