A welcome message from St Madeleine's Principal, Barbara Young.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the St Madeleine’s Catholic learning community.
At St Madeleine’s the staff, parents and parish work together to personalise the learning to meet the academic, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each student in our care. We are a dedicated and professional team, continually examining ways to improve teaching techniques and the students’ learning environment.
Our programs are designed to engage students in rich, real and relevant learning experiences in order to develop knowledge and skills for a future that we can only imagine. We recognise that not only do our students need to grasp knowledge and skills in numeracy and literacy, but they also need to know how to think, how to access information, how to communicate, and how to work cooperatively.
Our school values and welcomes the support of parents and friends. Together we build a sense of warmth and welcome, as we go about our work of helping our students to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. St Madeleine’s school motto “Love Learning,” reminds us that God’s unconditional love for us is the foundation upon which we build our learning community. Each day at St Madeleine’s we commit to being a community of faith, whereby each person feels the presence of God in their hearts, in their classroom and in their school.
Thank you for visiting our website, I encourage you to come and visit our school in person to see for yourself what we can offer your child. We look forward to you joining our community in the near future!
