Today, students from St Madeleine's attended the ANZAC memorial at John Benyon Rotary Park. We watched proudly as Charlotte read The Ode and Luca and Annaliese laid the wreath.

Today we said a heartfelt goodbye to Fr Adam. His kindness, soccer skills on the playground, and visits with his lovely dog Bonnie will be deeply missed by our school community. ✝️ Stage 3 Good Friday Liturgy ✝️ Today, Stage 3 completed our school’s Progressive Liturgy, marking the final step in our Holy Week journey. Across the week, each stage walked with Jesus—celebrating Palm Sunday, reflecting on Holy Thursday, and today, honouring Good Friday. Stage 3 led us beautifully through this solemn moment, helping us remember Jesus’ love and sacrifice. We are proud of the reverence shown by all students and grateful to staff for guiding them so thoughtfully. As we look ahead to Easter Sunday, may we carry the hope of the Resurrection in our hearts. Wishing everyone a peaceful and blessed Easter.

Today Year 2 finished off their work in Geography by showcasing terrific settlements that they designed and created, to Year One. There was a mix of urban, suburban and rural projects that demonstrated understanding of how and why people connect to places. Well done Year 2. You worked so cooperatively!

Year 2 took part in ‘The Water Walk’ today. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience what some children need to do to get water in other countries. After the event, the children had thoughtful discussions and completed a response activity to help reflect on the event.
