🧣❄️ Vinnies Winter Woollies Day ❄️🧤 On Monday 23rd June (Week 9), we invite all students to wear their winter woollies - beanies, scarves, mittens, or ear-muffs - with their uniform as we support the Vinnies Winter Appeal. As a faith-filled community, we are called to see the face of Christ in others and care for those in need. This is a beautiful way for our students to respond to the call of the Gospel by donating one warm item per family, such as a blanket, scarf, socks, or jumper to help someone doing it tough this winter. Let’s come together in warmth, generosity, and love. 💙 “For I was cold and you clothed me…” – Matthew 25:36

Take a journey to the bright side 🌞 Year 4 have been looking at ways to make good choices that help others. We wrote positive words and affirmations for our parishioners. You might see this basket the next time you visit St Madeleines Church, feel free to take a note. We are very proud of the students for putting their 'faith in action'!

On Tuesday 3rd June, girls from St. Mads participated in a Stage 3 girls soccer gala day. The girls had a great day and represented our school with spirit and pride. A special thank you to Mr Thompson, Mrs Leeds and all the parents who gave up their time to coach and support the girls.

🌿 Waste Free Wednesday 🌿 Tomorrow we encourage all students to join our Laudato Si’ Leaders in supporting Waste Free Wednesday! Our leaders ask that tomorrow you bring your lunch in reusable packaging and help us reduce waste at school. To raise awareness, any rubbish brought to school will be sent home again. The Laudato Si’ Leaders will be on the job - litter picking, promoting sustainability, and encouraging everyone to do their part to care for our environment.
